Tacos El Idolo
Fridays were meant for tacos and brews :)
I got these authentic tacos from the El Idolo truck that is usually parked on the corner of 8th Ave. & 14th St. in Lower Manhattan. They make them fresh to order and offer different types of meat from shredded spicy chicken (pictured above) steak, pulled pork and even tongue, for those who are a bit daring. They are made on two fresh soft white corn torillas, with diced onions, pieces of beet and cilantro. Then you top it off with a few squeezes of lime, red & green homemade hotsauce! Aaahhhh taco heaven!! After filling your stomach with taco goodness you can walk to many local bars/beer gardens for a nice cold brew. Hows that for a Friday night?
