BALANAN LAKE

Balanan lake is located inland , up the mountains of the town of Siaton . This is 15 km from the highway.
It's accessible by car and motorcycle. If you don't have any transport, your hotel can probably help you or just find local rental. Alternatively , there's this Habal-habal ( motorcycle taxis )
in Siaton town centre to hire. For safety, people aren't allowed to swim in the lake. However, there's swimming pool from free flowing mountain spring, approx. 10 minutes walk from the lake where people can swim.
