I picked this photo of Jesus as this is life-like of the him hung on the cross, nailed and was terribly beaten up, humiliated and degraded, most likely close to what he had gone through on his moments on the cross. Through his own sacrificial death we are put right back to God if we believe in Him, he is God in the flesh, the Son of God...and He is coming soon !
Jesus paid the price on the cross for all our sins . He had already done it .Man is fallen through sin . Not one is righteous , everyone is a sinner ( Romans 3:23 ). Jesus came to save us , only if we receive him as our saviour and Lord through true repentance of our sins and letting Him in our lives, confesseing Him with our mouth as our Lord and Savour and believe in our hearts through faith that we are save.
The sacrifice had been done once and for all.You don't need to sacrifice yourself , repeat the sacrifice Jesus had done or boast with how good you are.
As works alone can't save anyone, they are just filthy rugs by the sight of God.
Jesus was the prophecied sacrificial lamb of God , who died for our sins.
All we have to do is to repent and believe in Him.
