It's not getting better
This is the view of one seaside resto bars at Pangsama beach 2012 .
I've known and familiar of Panagsama Beach decades ago , I thought could have improved much better for good .
We aren't suppose to stop at Panagsama Beach for the night but due to time constraints there's nowhere else to stay. The alternative area at Kawasan falls was closed, I assume that includes its accommodation too . It was late in the afternoon , so we took the easy route towards Panagsama Beach , Moalboal , spend the night there . Suprisingly , and I just have to be honest, it looks horrendous than what is was decades ago. Everything seem such a mess. No building regulations in place and buildings with ugly designs, dodgy constructions are a clatter. But number one problem is the water supply . People are still fetching water these like what it was in those old days ...why so ?
Water is part of the basic need for our survival , and for Panagsama to operate as a successful Diving tourism corner of Cebu, local authorities should have joint action with Cebu tourism agency to ensure water supply is being meet in the area. Back at our guest house , I 've seen a notice on the wall, that precious flow of water stops at 10 pm --- are they joking ? What, for tourists to love it ? What I felt when I saw it was sense of panic - No water , oh good !!!! What I did was borrow spare water buckets , and have few water buckets full for the night, in case we needed it. It wasn't really comfortable as I did my own bucket full of water in the bedroom. This may sound an extreme action, but I did it.
But truly things are going downhill in there for my updated impression of the place.
I'm speaking my mind here. I just don't speak rosy positive all out lies of goody things and everything sooo good . If this may serve a word of warning for those whoever may ... or by any chance stay there.
