Romans 12:9

"Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord."

I do believe God hears prayers.I never prayed for the fall for anybody or to destroy people . Instead I pray for strength to have patience and love to face them with calmness at the heart .

Last year I was overwhelmed by this issue of our neighbor ,a pastor of a church ( not our church ) ,buidling up a strong sea wall project in his property .Our helper did tell me ,his men were taking stones/rocks from our area few times ,but there was no validity of such story .I can't be sure if our helper was telling the truth or was it only a seasoned gossip to stir us up . But I also suspect they did it as I seem to noticed in one of the nights ,but I can't be sure if it was the pastor's hired workers in our lowtide area or just passers by .Even if so, it's hard to prove it with evidence. It's hard to make fights just for stones and costly if you get it to court and hire a lawyer . My sister spotted them again .So my father went to see the pastor and to told him his men were getting stones/rocks from our area .The pastor strongly denied it .But there were occasions his men were again spotted in our area . I was so stressed up with heaviness of heart . I cried out to God one night with my prayers begging God to shed light of all things that disturbed me ,this was just a day before my travel back to the UK . I prayed to the living God , the righteous Judge of all .The living GOD that sees the hearts of men ,that if I am wrong with my suspicion ,that He will forgive me as my heart can be sinful and filthy . But if it is then true that the our neighbor pastor knew about it but turned a blind eye of the things he knew ,allowing his men to gather stones/rocks from our area during the wee hours ,I asked God to put JUSTICE to it and to stop his project of stone wall if our suspicions were proven true .I asked God to protect our area,that no one will take stones /rocks again .I never asked in prayer for anybody's doom even if they did wrong to me , but just simply some bit of justice to be done if they it were to be proven true.I can't rely on my personal suspicions but I do believe that God sees all things and everything .

 

But six weeks later , my sister just told me ,the pastor (our neighbor ) died a sudden death , while on his motorbike on his way to a wedding ( he meant to perform a wedding ceremony ) he didn't make it there . He had a heart attack on his way while on a motorbike .This shocked me to the bones .I dont know, I never wished him any bad luck .Of course you can NOT do that as a christian but rather love and forgiveness but also of justice I leave the rest for my God to do .I truly rely on God as my defense in everything .

I can't be sure if it's judgement or was it the pastors appointed time to go .

But all I know his big sea wall project which was almost near completion stopped.

I just hoped whatever he had done in his life ,the pastor has repented that day

just before his heart stopped beating -- when he was taken away unexpectedly .
