A different perspective to WWW3 ,freemasons involve to bring in NWO according to David Icke. I am not fond of all David Icke's messages as he is unto New Age ,and he was a bit baised against Israel .I am out of it.
But I can't agree more about the subject of the NWO and WWW3 . The Bible indicates these things will come to happen and for the beast system to come and rule over the world for a short period of seven years .Being saved through Jesus is an eternal ticket to salvation. Have spotted this jugged karst terrain up in the mountains more than 20 yrs ago , intriguing but I wasn't adventurous enough during my naive days .I've never known this beautiful place ,can be seen so close if you're at Badjan ,they look like nearby hills above .
Starting from Cebu City ,you have to travel south .Traveling south will leave you two options ,either towards southwest or southeast of Cebu . If you like to head down Moalboal or visit Kawasan Falls nearby , then take Osmena Peak as an extra trekking activity starting from Kawasan Falls ,which is still very doable - you'll need a guide to get there. But I thought ,it's manageable to reach the Osmena Peak without any guide ( don't take my personal opinion for your own good :),this is a steep hike up the mountain trail ,starting from Kawasan .
If you're a not hiker then take the direction towards southeastern of Cebu and stop by the town of Dalaguete ,then find the tourism office in town for proper advise and directions.
If you have a car handy it will be easier to drive up the mountains to Dalaguete town then towards Mantalungun as we did it. Mantalungun was a big village up the mountains .We didn't check the tourism office ,'twas late ,assuming TO was already closed.
When you reached Mantalungun ,it's best to asked for directions from locals.But if you deslike the hassles of asking people,it's probably easy to find guides from Mantalangun .They have Barangay hall( village hall ) which can suggest some guides .
Distance from Mantalungun towards the junction leading to the P.Village is approx a kilometer ,you'll never miss it .Then follow the small cemented road going up the mountain .It's easy to spot it. From Mantalungun we drove up to this village called Private , which confused me.I thought it was a joke - but then this can happen in the Philipines these days lol .At Private village ,two young men appeared on scene, and offered to guide us ,with their motorcycles handy .It's a bit crazy to drive through less ventured territory that late ,we never knew the area so much it put our confidence so low in pushing through with the car.Having guides which has motorcycles handy on scene seems the best option:)I'm surprised things fall exactly into place - just right as we needed them ,given only a little window of time left. We reached the peak at perfect time for the fabulous sunset !
I would put credit also to our guides who were fantastic .To begin with they seem to be there right on time and just like to help us . They never set a price , and they left it for us to decide . I wasn't expecting that .I always thought guides will overprice us because of a white man with me ( hubby ) .But they didn't !
They were pleasant and helpful young men in their early 20's . I should have taken their pictures ,but I forgot.
Sometimes you get wary of people and feel on some occasions something dark radiating from the person that you can't be sure about them. However ,my spirit sees them in pure peace and as good people . I did feel they were genuine .
You don't need to climb miles and miles up the mountain .Though it's left to ones choice to do it the hard way or easy way .I understand some people would like to test their fitness ,stamina and endurance ,self gratified with "aches and pain " .
Not being rude ,I saw many pages made by local mountaineers as if it's a real hurdle to climb the peak - Oh c'mon ! What they've done was hike from Dalaguete ,then to Mantalungun then up for the peak .It simply gave the illusion of some level of difficulty to reach the peak , when there's another very easy way --- or just hire a habalhabal.
If you have your own motorcycle the better it would be!
I love doing the easy way.I'd rather classify it as short mountain walk . I would never call it a "climb" if I start driving from Dalaguete towards the closest area nr the peak.
It can be justified as a "climb" if the starting point of the trek is from Kawasan Falls ( the south western part of Cebu ) as there's no alternative way but to climb your way up following little trails as told .I'll respect such claim .
If you prefer less sweat /less effort to see Osmena peak ,I'll recommend you travel for Dalaguete and base yourself from there .There are several resorts around to stay ,it's no problem to find them ( you can google them ),then book your stay.You need to inquire the tourism office in Dalaguete ,in case there's some problem in the area.When things are OK, I suggest book a habal-habal( Motor cycle taxi ) and who can perhaps guide you at the same time on your trek to reach the peak ,to make things quicker and easier . By the time you arrive Osmena Peak area ,as I said it may take you approx. 30 mins walk to the peak( depending on your speed). Not being rude ,if you walk with speed of a slug :D oh man ,it may take 2 days ).I hardly sweat out on that walk .But with such splendid beauty and awesome sunset that awaits ,with great weather included in the package( when it could have been raining and cloudy ) ,I can't stop thanking for the love and goodness of God !
