Working high

This guy was good in climbing up structures and beams ,with agilty and balance .I bet they are paid between P200 - 300per day . Safety rules seemed very relaxed back in Philippines .We hired carpenters for over two months including time I wasn't around ,the major skilled one in the village only asked P200 pesos per day ,his less skilled assistant's asking price for work was P 150 pesos /day.

P 200 pesos is equivalent to £ 3.30/ day or $5.50 /day that's all day job for a skilled carpenter /builder . P 150 pesos is £ 2.50 /day .It varies if you are in big cities as Cebu or Manila.

For a house helper ,there's competition of helpers wanting jobs in the villages .Last year and before that my late mother paid P 1,500 pesos for non-stay in helper from Monday to Friday work .That was the asking price for a month .I was so surprised ,but also felt guilty how these people work with such low wages .The same helper this time ,with the same asking price of P 1,500 ,but I payed double her wage as I can see she was working hard with extra time ,staying late just helping up after dinner , cleaning up and washing dishes etc .She does cook well too, and very reliable in terms of cooking ,I have no problems . Also she prefered to work on weekends .I did bought her extras like clothes, bags and treats for her kids as they are from a very poor family. Whenever I go shopping I always buy her some bread to take home for her kids. But her wages goes back to normal when with my sister but she works less .Any increase is upon their arrangements.

P 1,500 pesos = approx £15.00 / month (House helper )

P 3,000 pesos = " £ 30.00 /month ( house helper)

The reason if life continues ,no apocalypse yet and we still have years to retire in the Philippines ,economic collapse surprisingly hasn't happened ,voila ,me and hubby are to follow our dreams to live in the Philippines . I wouldn't like to work in UK to 70 yrs goodness ,I'll drop dead by that time . Though comfortable retirement seemed remote to me in way I see the world now , NWO plus global disasters and what awaits for us seemed all uncertainly . If the UK would not follow the steps of Greece and Spain in the long term we will survive the great depression ,then that's a miracle ever to to happen! I'm sorry , I'm just doom and gloom ,but I have basis to believe this.

My husband seemed always hopeful for his comforable retirement . I wouldn't like to shatter his dreams through my nagging with my end times beliefs. He is positive and full of hopes and good for him :)). I just wanted him to be aware ,saved truly and fully in Christ like myself .

Thoughts of pensions - hmmm I can't see my pensions doing good in the long term, honestly friends.I bet this thing in UK gonna follow into what happened to Greece pension fund slashed out ,with people's life savings gone to the drains. This is the shadow of he future sadly . When this happens , conspiracy theories isn't anymore conspiracy ,conspiracy come reality .I do convinced hubby with a little humour ,if the islands don't sink yet we can live of the land in the Philippines in thick and thin :) ,might not be so comfortable if tilling the land ourselves and living back to basics but we don't spend on heating during winters . I can't imagine being old and and achy and can't afford on heating my house as my pension fund gone like puff of smoke ,then I do my chores with an achy athritic knees .

I feel better in the Philippines .Despite the things happening all around , God

is blessing the islands .It's the isles of the sea that glorifies God ( Isaiah 24:15 ,definetely )That if only the Filipinos will leave IDOL WORSHIP completely He will heal the land .God will feed the people of the islands :) My mind is prepared for whatever happens to the global economy in next 5 - 10 years or soon /our jobs at stake ,we never know what lurks at the ncxt corner etc .My strength is only from God .

If you haven't have God truly in your life it's gonna be scary time ahead.
