Never Trust Your Heart
The Bible says :
"The heart is deceitful above all things ,and desperately wicked :who can know it ?"
~ Jeremiah 17:12
" He that trusts in his own heart is a FOOL : but whosoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered." ~ Proverbs 28:26
How many times we've heard of similar repeated messages in songs, in slogans and across the board :
" Follow your heart"
" follow where your heart leads you "
"you know best " ,"Follow your intuition " etc ...not until we stumble and fall ?
But God has His word :
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.
In all your ways ,acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths " ~ Proverbs 3: 5-6
Amen !
