Our Cathay Pacific plane connecting flight bound for Cebu . It takes only over two hours flight HK - Cebu .
I normally prefer to fly London - Cebu rather than to Manila on my visits to the Philippines. The reason is Cebu is very close to Negros as my final destination .
Cebu has several exists by boat and also by plane going to Negros .Although Manila might be also quicker as a jumping off point to other islands , but you never know of the weather and circumstances like floods which might affect the connections . For people heading for Luzon , Manila should be a convenient transit .
I am just glad this part of the Visayas ( Negros and Cebu ) isn't under direct path of dreadful typhoons . Although there's no absolute certainty no typhoon will bash this area ,but it was lucky we haven't had horrific experiences ever in Negros in my lifeline of awareness ...hope this continues .
