DSCN0017 Only a weed

This is a common back garden weed in Negros as I am aware of .I am fascinated with its moderate size blue flowers and which can flower in profusion .It's shallow rooted unlike the dandellion ,easy to pull out and get rid off if you wanted to . When we were kids we used play sometimes with its matured brown seed pods ,that when wet with water it burst open flicking out it seeds . I can't see why it's considered a weed , it has beautiful flowers and can flower in profusion ,is a good ground cover and doesn't need so much care and attention . If my time will come when I partly live back in the Philippines , certainly this weed flower will be part of my garden . Crazy as can be but this is a natural species ,which is very well adopted to the normal conditions of the island .

I have a friend back in RP who has collections of Euphorbia plants ( if my spelling is right ) .It flowers nicely but has got spiky tiny woody stems ... unfortunately doesn't gave me any appeal to have one . It's not cheap either and to care for it takes so much time and effort to look after . It looks like an imported plant where ever it came from . To be honest even a local flowering shrub /hedge plant with a local name of Santan can beat it up .

If I have garden someday in Pinas , I prefer easy care beautiful plants /varieties ,even to have this beautiful blue flowering weed in .Why not ?
