The Survivors : Dipsy and Wendy our fresh eggs clucking machine ;D

Dipsy is the brown feathered chicken in the front and Wendy is the black one behind Dipsy .The other two at the back were the unfortunate victims of the fox rampage in almost a year now ... but I love foxes despite their bad behavior . I am viewing it as way for them to survive and all we have to do is to be responsible for looking after our chickens ,make it sure foxes can't easily access the coop . In my personal view they are one of the most persecuted animals .But my hubs and children wants chickens ,I am the minority .

 

I used to feed foxes that comes to our garden .I even befriended one which turns up every late afternoon or past midnight . I wake up sometimes after midnight to check out this fox . I almost get too close to the fox to be able to stroke it and the fox to nibble or gently lick my finger . It was so sweet closeness with a wild animal . But since we started having chickens ,foxes were completely out .

 

But I never gave up with one of my wishes someday to have a small fox cub and raise it like a dog . I don't kow how easy or possible will this be .
