My stray dog escort
From the ancient thermal swimming pool, we decided to visit once again to the Heirapolis Amphitheater which is a walk up the small hill. It was a bit tiring as we had the great soak in the thermal pool for many hours, I could just stay longer for more hours in the night if allowed . But we have to catch up with last hour of the sunset over the ancient amphitheater .
As usual I am always far behind in walks as I kept stopping by photographing. But this stray dog came, and walked with me up the hill to the amphitheater relics , as if I was his master/ friend. When I stop, he stopped. I wished I had had food with me. He seemed so gentle and nice. I went in the Amphitheater and the dog remained outside. There was no entrance fee . After going around the Amphitheater in the evening, I found this dog was still at the same place I left him by the entrance, and he escorted me back to the travertines. He wouldn't go through the water . There were no houses up around the travertines, and I thought he might be a stray dog. Back in my mind I wish I could bring him home :) or could buy him food down the restos below but it's such a walk going back up the travertines which is close by night.
