An Injured Banded Sea Snake At The Backyard

I knew this snake is highly venomous more than cobras. Sea snakes are docile creatures, don’t normally bite unless threatened. It has only a small mouth opening to get any chucnk of me or of people. There was a clamor that I should kill it from the neighbors. But poor thing, it might have a chance of survival if I removed it away from site sooner.

 

As much as I could remove it out of the area using two long sticks like what you do on chopsticks. When I place it by the water, it slithers away fast until its disappears to the ocean.

 

Snakes always has the bad rap anyway, the reason why most people when they see snakes they kill them.

 

But 20 minutes later on my way to my bahay Kubo, I saw the same the same snake down my path. Strange... I thought ;)

 

It was too quick to slither back to land? Just in mind the distance from the Bahay-Kubo to the beach is around 20 meters away, knowing it was already injured and even dying.

 

Sometimes strange things do happen :)

My hope is it survived despite the odds.

Maybe it begins to like me :) Nice thoughts hmmm and it became my pet forever :D
