The place where we stayed over the night to catch the early swim with the Whale Sharks. We haven't booked this accommodation but found this just as we searched on arrival . We found a nice one but it's fully booked . Not with tourists but with a Mayor from one of Cebu's towns with entourage of body guards and friends plus his mistress , ouch. Did I hear it right ? Mayor with miss mistress - typical ! This was told by one of the men working in the resort.There's only a single room available , so we left and looked for another . It could have been difficult if we didn't have our own vehicle , looking for accommodation by foot that night . We found guesthouse 100 meters away with a family room , smaller than the standard family room but just good enough for the night . We had 2 family beds and a single one put together :) It was a squeeze but we had a fabulous swim with the Sharks in the morning .
