Manjuyod sandbar stilt huts
This belongs to the town of Manjuyod in Oriental Negros, but can be accessed from Bais too alongside Dolphin watching intinerary .Some hotels do over price the cost of this activity , as middleman I suppose .I heard of some hotels charging costumers P1500 /per head including food . Time in July '07 ,,an 18 person capacity boat cost P3,500 for the whole day including the sand bar, but excluding rental of the stilt hut. But the boat in itself seem to be spaceous enough for 18 ppl , no need of any stilt hut unless all of the 18 are of gargantuan built. The stilt cottages can be booked directly at the Municipal hall of Manjuyod ,cost P1000 (pesos )for a day. Hotels charge more on top of that. About food, you can bring your own,or cater independently, hotels do have their own deals too. Some boat service did offer us P150 /head (meat bbq, fish sinugba and rice ,fruit and drinks ). We did bring our own, anyway I live only 10 minutes drive from the jump off point .
