When I accepted Jesus, I prayed about the same format of this prayer. We can rededicate our lives to God if we feel we slipped off the path . Everything is only between you and God , no one has to know or witnessed. Can pray this format of prayer anywhere, anytime. If whole heartedly done, God knows it and sees the hearts of man. God doesn't judge by physical appearances either.
