"My people perished because of the lack of knowledge ...."

It is the lack of the knowledge of God and his commandments and

not listening to his word of truth.

Not the knowledge of this world which is corrupted and full of

lies and denial of God .

 

Matthew 24 : 37-38

 

" But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."

 

Hosea 4:6

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
