Malapascua Children

This is one of my shots taken of last year at Malapascua Island .

Had a walk on the beach and passed by these little children

and had a little chat with them.

The older boy looked after his youngest sibling , that's usually the case

when both parents are working . My heart breaks when looking into

this photograph having the flash of memory of these children .

Typhoon Haiyan flattened the low lying island of Malapascua

and I've heard no more news apart from that. You see people in Tacloban getting

relief Aid but I haven't heard any mention about Malapascua at all.

If the poor family stayed in the island, I can only imagine the

worse . I prayed they made it through , if not , which our human minds

always associate defeat and sadness in equation to death, but surely

if come the worse these innocent souls , if didn't make it , then they are

back with God where it's glorious paradise for them , not the absolute

circle of poverty they lived in and suffered.

 

One thing that caught my eye on one of them was the necklace.

I asked the small boy in black what is it, he replied it was a Talisman , something

like magic stuff in a necklace form , he added it's good for healing. My heart was

deeply saddened when I heard of it . Talismans or some magic gadgets are

part sorcery paraphernalia.

These children were innocent victims and didn't know much about it's dark implications ,

which is indicative their parents are into these things. The word of God said,

sorcerers and those who practice all forms of witchcraft , divination ...their place is

the lake if fire. These children are innocent souls , not reaching the age of

accountability not knowing what is right and wrong and God

I'm sure can see their pure hearts.

 

My deepest thoughts are also of those who lost their lives without

being saved. Who lost their lives thinking they are saved but are not ,

those who are not being born - again in Christ and knowing Christ.

I can see and feel what it's like being trapped with no way out and

it's the subject about our eternal destiny, this just hit me deeply .

Can I ever think of my grandma or dear loved Auntie forever doomed ?

Or myself if I didn't wake up in the Lord . Every born-again Christian

should know why .

That's the reason we should not hide our light of Christ and

just mourn for the dead without our own contributions to share

the gospel for the the Kingdom of God. Don't mind the God-bashers.

God will judge them accordingly .

One day each of us will give accounts to the Lord.

 

As I've brought up a little bit about afterlife, then it might be

a helpful insight to put alongside testimonies of some people who have seen

HEAVEN and HELL . This might be weird to many of you, but of those
