Dance of the rainbow costumes - 霓裳羽衣舞
This dance is one of the most brilliant song and the dance of the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907 A.D.). According to the lengend, Emperor Xuanzong dreamt of dancing fairies wearing rainbow skirts & feathered coats, & was inspired to compose a melody. His favourite concubine, Yang Yuhuan, then choreographed the dance.

相传玄宗帝梦游月宫仙境，目睹身着彩云般美妙服饰的仙女在漫舞轻歌，醒来谱出音律，后由爱妃杨玉环编排出这名传百世的轻歌妙舞。
