Venturing into a part of WV we’ve never been to before. Arrived late because of an accident on the highway. It was way after dark, cruising dark one lane back roads to our destination spot in a wildlife management area. Woke up to a light dusting of snow the next morning. As we ate our breakfast, it began snowing heavier. We took the time to explore our campsite, the burble of two creeks, one on each side of the road accompanying our curiosity. We actually had to ford the creek to get to our site. A beautiful and tranquil place, almost ruined by the trash left behind by previous campers. Don’t be a dick. Don’t litter. Pack it out.
