29.3C (Hyde Park, London)

The record has been broken for the UK's warmest start to May with temperatures reaching 29.3C in London, the Met Office confirms

 

The highest temperature was in Kew Gardens today, beating the record set in Lossiemouth in Scotland in 1990.
