1929 Marquette 35X Tourer_img 0152*

The Marquette name was first used for an automobile in 1904. The name was later acquired by General Motors but was dropped in 1912. Later it was briefly revived by Buick for the 1930 model year with the first vehicles appearing in showrooms in June 1929. The chassis for this particular vehicle was imported from North America and the body built in Australia by Holden Motor Body Builders Ltd.
