- It has an automatic gearbox with three speeds forward and a lock-up torque convertor, a 6-Volts electric system, a Stromber dual downdraft carburettor, a single dry plate clutch disc, hydraulic drum brakes all around, a 63 liter fuel tank and rear wheel drive.

- It has coil spring independent front suspension and a live rear axle (semi-floating type) longitudinal semi-elliptic leaf springs.

- A manual transmission with a column mounted shifter was optional.

- This series is produced at the South Bend plant in Indiana (USA) and at the Walkerville plant in Ontario (Canada).

- Later models were also built the Hamilton plant, Ontario (Canada).
