Precious Peyto

One of my favorite lakes, for several reasons: the glacial silt giving it this pretty blue/teal color, the spectacular setting and the shape of a dog's head on the right.

 

The lake is fed by the Peyto Creek, which drains water from the Caldron Lake and Peyto Glacier (part of the Wapta Icefield), and flows into the Mistaya River.

 

An old shot, need to get a newer one.....;-))
