Firebird

Bands of rich sunrise reds and oranges light up the sky, the pristine waters of Lake McDonald and the beloved peaks of Glacier Park.

 

Was a fortunate morning, as the winds hadn't picked up yet as they generally do here along the Continental Divide.

Was a quick show, lasting perhaps 3 minutes, then was back to grays. A moment and scene to long remember.
