The Gallery of the Next Generation (Incredible Mom)
I was downtown this past weekend. I was waiting for a friend, Christine who was staying across from where the car was parked. Saw this car, chatted with the owner for a good 20min while I was waiting for my friend to come down. We chatted about his "gallery of the next generation". Efficient, he gets to move around the city. Pays no rent only the parking meter. From Columbia. Started putting pennies on his car in 2001 (but he never told me when he finished doing so.) Believe it or not, he told me he had about 5 Masters degrees including a masters in Photography, Painting and many more that I don't recall. He also expressed how he felt about being an Artist. He loves his work and is simply doing it for the "next generation". He told me many people have offered to buy his car which he kindly refused. He also shared that he had won numerous Art Awards around the city of Toronto.
I was so busy talking to him that by the time I left I realized I had not asked for his name so I shall call him the "Penny Man"
If you are visiting TO or happen to see him don't hesitate to say hello, he's a good man. Didn't have enough money to purchase one of his paintings he had in his car but I did give him 20 bucks for gas.
His car is a gallery full of action figures and a few paintings.
