Why the Frog Face ?

Maybe Mr. Frog is like me and doesn't like Mondays! This image is of a bullfrog emerged on the edge of a pond looking out at his surroundings. I crept on my belly to the edge of the pond, and at about the minimum focus distance for the lens. I was hoping that the frog wouldn't frighten and run away. Luckily, he did not.
