The battle of 2009 is etched into my face. Almost every waking minute was occupied with doing, planning, thinking and working. It was a seven day a week storm of opportunities, discoveries, setbacks, and mental realignments. In the end I won. I paid dearly in isolation, and in the deprivation of many of the things I love and enjoy. I learned a lot and it was all worth it. Now it's time for the healing.
