Lake Monsters

Under the pink hues of the pre-dawn sky, ice formations surround the light standards along the Port Stanley pier. These formations were created during a recent blizzard over the Christmas weekend that brought a flash freeze along with near hurricane strengh winds.

 

Unfortunately with milder temps forecasted for the next few days, these lake monsters will return back to the waters they came from.
