I finally got around to finishing him. Unfortunately, I didn't have sufficient time to photograph him this weekend since I was taking the ACT and seeing Doctor Strange on Saturday and I was busy cleaning my room on Sunday and ran out of daylight. I did set up a new photography area that should be better since it's right next to the window as opposed to five feet away from it, so hopefully this will work better.
As the teaser picture suggests, yes, Pylon does have a light-up eye courtesy of Power Functions LEDs, photos of that will come when I fully photograph him, but for now this is the only proper picture I have of him.
Parts usage was also a big component of building this guy, which is probably why he took so long. I wanted to incorporate as many odd, seemingly useless parts as I could while maintaining functionality. I think I succeeded since I managed to work in HF 1.0 torso and leg armor, Stars bits, and McToran arms. Whether it looks good or not, I'll let you all be the judge on that :)
In the story blurb I'm crafting for him, he's part of the same robotic warrior race as Spry , so I wanted to make him look similar enough that the two could be associated while making him distinct enough to be his own character. As opposed to the scout, TFP Bumblebee-esque idea I had for Spry, Pylon is a hulking brute that would rather smash his enemies head-on than take shots at them from a distance.
