To be found just off the very busy road. The by-pass, built in the 1950s, took the heavy traffic out of the village, but it also cut St. John the Baptist off from the village. There is, however, a narrow tunnel under the road where one can walk to the church and see whether John Newton's experience of Amazing Grace ("was lost, but now am found") can come true.
