from kidz express today.

 

i've been trying some things differently with kidz express. for one, i've been trying to have more of a candid portrait mindset instead of looking for newspaper style reportage, which is sort of my natural setting these days after working for the paper the past year or so.

 

also, i've been shooting for black and white, which has freed me from having to think about the awful background colors in the kidz express center, at the same time forcing me to think more explicitly about composition.
