Girls Who Code @ Bowie Library

The Girls Who Code Club met for the first time at the Bowie Branch Library, January 22, 2015. Girls Who Code Club educates, inspires, and equips girls in grades 6-12 with the skills and resources needed to pursue opportunities in computing fields. This program was made possible through support from the City of Bowie and instruction from the Bowie State University’s Women in Computing organization. Imani McLaurin, a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Bowie State University, led the first session.
