New border route SY 1-10-13 7 of 7

The new (to the photographer, at least, in January of 2013...) route into Tijuana, Mexico from the SD Trolley San Ysidro, CA Border Station. (AKA: San Ysidro Transit Center Station) # 7 of 7 Taken by a Nikon D40x with a Sigma 17-70mm ƒ 2.8-4 OS HSM macro lens (at 28)

Continue Through the plaza (¡Viva Tijuana!) to the ramps below the pedestrian bridge - from here the route is the same as the old route.

The "Taxi Libre" stand is to right of frame on the street side of that MickeyD's. (Always crowded, and not the best MickeyD's in TJ, either) Note that the MickeyD's mentioned closed sometime between August 2014 and November 2014... (My guess - they couldn't make a profit with the high rents on locations in Viva Tijuana!)

Note that most of the shops in this plaza are tourist rip-offs. For good bargains (or at least better bargains…) stay away from the tourist inhabited parts of town - although this may mean that your Spanish skills (pre-supposing that you have any...) may be tested. Just going into downtown can reduce the price of a single Cialis® tablet (as an example) by 2-3 dollars (per pill!) from the price in this plaza.
