Awaken to Emerald Bay's first light
I rose before dawn and made my way to Emerald Bay, a stunning inlet along Lake Tahoe's shoreline in northern California. Despite the cloudless sky I had hoped would add drama, braving the below-freezing temperatures to witness daybreak over this legendary landscape was worthwhile.
I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
