The Earth is not flat, we checked!

We were invited to go on a hot air balloon ride in San Martin, California, located south of the San Francisco Bay Area. A friend who could not join contacted me the day before, and offered me to go instead. What a pleasant surprise! We flew over suburban landscape at about 1000 feet above the ground, and landed in Gilroy in a field on the lower right behind a church. A friendly policeman came, asking if we are OK, indeed we were, and had a lot of fun!

I processed a balanced and an interior HDR photo separately from two RAW exposures, blended them for a composite image, taking one for the basket of the balloon, and one for the urban landscape. After that I carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
