Driving home on a foggy morning

I intended to capture Comet Nishimura in the early morning of Sep 12 in the hills above Palo Alto, California. I could not spot it, maybe the city lights were too bright. Low hanging fog was clearing up when I drove back home along the windy Skyline Boulevard, right when the sun came up. Perfect timing, I parked the car and walked around and found a few foggy scenes.

I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
