Someday you'll pay the price, I know

In 2021 we drove east on the ring road until we reached the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, located in the south-eastern region of Iceland. The lagoon is at the foot of a giant glacier. The Glacier is constantly calving ice, and the ice leaves the lagoon in a river that ends up in the ocean. The ice gets dispersed in the sea. When the tide gets lower, some of the ice gets stranded on the aptly named Diamond Beach next to the river. The ice is melting and forms interesting sculptures. At 1 am at night I placed an LED light behind this ice rock. It never gets dark at night at that high latitude in summer.

I processed a photographic and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
