That was a hot bath! Now I gotta hold on tight! [Explore 2022-09-28 #421]

I'll exhibit this photo at the gallery. In 2016 we went to the very unique Jigokudani Monkey Park in Japan. Wild Japanese Macaques, also known as Snow Monkeys, bathe in a natural hot spring. The park is located in the monkey's natural habitat, the forests of the Jigokudani valley in Yamanouchi, northeast of Nagano. A soaking wet mom and baby were just leaving the pool, with grumpy dad not far behind.

 

I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
