When the sun is out I've got something I can laugh about

I did an experiment and tried to create a donut bokeh with my vintage Dream Lens by placing a small black cardboard disk at the center of the front element of the lens. It kind of worked, as you can see from the swirly bokeh patterns, but they are not really donut shaped.

 

I processed a photographic and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
