A few more adjustments before the dance

On Saturday we attended the annual Sacramento contest powwow in Sacramento, California. Indigenous people of America gathered from all over the USA and Canada. Groups of many different tribes gather in a big circle. The tribes drum and chant, one group after the other, while dancers in traditional dress dance in the center of the circle. Elders judge the performances - a friendly competition. We could feel the energy on the field, a real uplifting experience!

We mingled with a tribe from near Sacramento. After asking for permission I took this shot of mother and daughter. The mom arranged the girl's dress before the dance. I gave her my card, offering to send the photo.

I processed a realistic and a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
