Alien invasion

Yesterday we went hiking at Point Lobos, located on the California coast just south of Carmel-By-The-Sea. This state park has quite unique features. The most unusual one are green algae on cypress trees called Trentepohlia that have a bright orange look!

I processed a balanced, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from two RAW exposures, blended the selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
