Standing strong for over 1800 years

Recently I headed up to the Skyline Boulevard that runs along the ridge of the San Francisco Bay Area peninsula. Although not very high, it's quite cooler up there, with cool moist air coming in from the Pacific Ocean. I was looking for moss covered trees, and found a giant redwood tree called Methuselah.

I processed a paintery and a natural HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
