On Monday we drove 10+ hours north-east to Weiser, Idaho to see the totality of the solar eclipse. What an experience!
There is one stretch of a long highway that connects Interstate 80 in Nevada with the Boise area. It takes 3 1/2 hours to pass the Idaho Oregon Nevada Highway, with just a few houses along the way. This straight line is somewhere in Oregon near the Rome State Airport.
I processed an enhanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, and carefully adjusted the color balance and the curves.
