On New Year's eve we went to Yerba Buena Island to see the fireworks of San Francisco; the island is located in the bay between San Francisco and Oakland. I took this shot of the smoke after the big finale.
I processed a balanced HDR photo from two RAW exposures, and desaturated the resulting image.
