Ex Machina?

We just went to see Ex Machina, a brilliant movie around the Turing Test - the assertion is, at the point when a human can't tell if a machine is human or not, the machine is said to have passed the test. This movie is not just for geeks, one surprising plot after the other. After seeing this there are so many open questions. When will AI surpass humans? Can AI be taught code of conduct? Is an AI being self aware? Can AI adhere to moral code to not harm humans?
Last year I went to a Japanese festival in the Silicon Valley. After seeing the Ex Machina movie, a question came to my mind looking at this photo of a Bon Odori singer: What if she not real? Maybe she is, maybe not??
