Last night I went to Stanford University to see a presentation by Prof. Günther Dissertori about particle physics at CERN, Switzerland. He covered the history of CERN, the technical challenges of the big particle detectors, the discovery of the Higgs Boson, and how thousands of researchers work together. CERN uses TWiki, our collaboration software, in a big scale by 10K+ researchers, thank you!

After the talk I walked around the campus to take some shots. This is the James H. Clark Center, housing interdisciplinary research in the biological sciences.

I processed a creative paintery HDR photo from two RAW exposures.
