Ocean, Sunset, Silhouette And Dreams!
The building in this photo is the former Llandudno lighthouse. It was constructed in 1862 by the Mersey Docks and Harbour Company. It looks more like a fortress than a traditional Lighthouse, built using dressed limestone and vast bulks of Canadian pitch pine.
The beacon was in continuous use until March 22nd 1985 when the optic was removed. The lighthouse is now run as a Guest House, Visitors can look down a vertical drop of more than 360ft whilst having breakfast.
