Gerace
After a pretty rough start to the day for my partner she was up for a stroll around town, apparently arriving in Gerace was what was required to make her feel a little better or it could have been the excellent bottle of “Terre di Gerace” we shared while we waited for our host to meet us. Our B&B stay was picture-perfect, and called La Casetta “The Little House”, the accommodation was located on the Duomo square with a reserved parking space but this beautiful split level is not for the mobility challenged due to a steep inside staircase. I try to find the best lodgings in each town that allow us to be in the middle of the area we visit but also walk to our chosen supper location in the evening and whenever possible I look for a place that has parking or close access to it.
I took this on Sept 15th 2023 with my D850 and Nikon 28-300mm f3.5-5.6 G2 Lens at 48mm, 1/500s, f4.2 ISO 64 processed in LR, PS +Lumenzia ,Topaz, and DXO
Disclaimer: My style is a study of romantic realism and still a work in progress
