Delightful Doaktown

Wherever I roam there is no place like home, I have always considered Doaktown N.B as where I come from even though I was born in Minto I was raised on the banks of the Miramichi, at least long enough for some of it to take hold.

This is one of my favorite type of shots with receding perspective and loads of leading lines to draw your eye through the shot, this particular example of this shot type is taken on the Doaktown train bridge heart of the irregular traveler within the village.

I have traveled to many countries and have seen countless incredibly beautiful sights but still none stirs the heart like a trip through the village that yearns to be a town and the river that binds us all in the heart of New Brunswick

I took this with my D750 and Nikon 16-35mm f/4 Lens at 35mm 1.0s, f/4 ISO 100 processed in LR, PS +Lumenzia, Topaz Denoise

Disclaimer: My style is a study of romantic realism as well as a work in progress.
